The rent is $1,050 per month plus another $100 per month for water & sewer expense paid directly to the landlord. The owner purchased this business 20 years ago and now wants to retire from this business.and work a second business, a retail store, with family members.This dry cleaner performs all the services usually requested by dry cleaning customers including suits, shirts, apparel, leather, alterations, etc. Sales volume has fallen during the recession but in recent years has run in the $100,000 range. An aggressive purchaser may choose to add one or more drop stores because the plant has the capacity to handle more production volume. Equipment includes a 45# Union Metro 4th generation dry cleaning machine about 10 years old along with a 20# Wascomat washer, a Fulton 15 HP boiler, an Ingersol Rand compressor, a Bosch water heater, an Ajax shirt machine for body & sleeves and another for cuffs & collars with a puffer along with an Ultramatic automatic presser and a Hoffman manual presser. The sales area has two conveyors. One-half of the finished inventory value on the conveyors at the day of closing, about $2,000, will be included in the purchase price.
