Dr. Johnson is Vice President of the Dean Group. He has a long successful career and a proven track record of getting things done, helping people and working to improve the community. His contributions in business, technology, community service, and real estate span over fifty year. It has earned him recognition of receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award for 2013 from President Obama. He received the Partners in the Arts and Humanities Award from the City of Austin for his work with the George Washington Carver Museum helping them set up their genealogy center. He also received the Outstanding Leadership Award from the George Washington Carver Museum Ambassadors. He also volunteers as a mentor in the Brotherhood at McNeil High School as well as volunteer with The Academies of McNeil High School. He is currently a volunteer as a board member and managing director for The Bill Rogers Youth Foundation in organizing and raising funds. He is a technical advisor to Frontier NanoSystems, LLC. His experience in real estate spans forty years, although not continuously and not full time until now, in both New York State and Texas. He has helped people buy and sell homes, rental property, and office buildings. He is skilled in helping people get VA loans. He is a REO agent. He is an experienced business man. He gained his experience at IBM as a top technical leader and expert and as a manager and from running his own company which he founded, Rainbow Analysis Systems Group, which became an Inc.500 Company in 1999. He is an experienced teacher and motivator, having taught how to design reliable computer systems for IBM worldwide, and as a professor at Huston-Tillotson University in the Computer Science Department and at University of Texas in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He taught project management at the Software Quality Institute at the University of Texas at Austin He is creative and a prolific write having over 40 technical publications, books, news articles, inventions, and patents. He has experience in the development of IBM computing systems including the IBM System 360, 370, 145, 138, 148, RS600, and RP3 which was an early research parallel processing system for scientific applications. He became known worldwide as an expert in fault-tolerant computing and reliability.
